Is Remington Viper 522 good rifle? I’m planning to buy a used one for my kid from local gun shop for $100.?
Recently. I saw Remington Viper 522 in local gun shop. Price is $100. I don’t think any semi-auto Plinker is in that range. Should I buy or pass ?
The Viper wasn’t a very good or good selling gun. They were made from 1993-1997. $100 is book price for one in 90% condition, so the price doesn’t seem too far out of line.
You might want to check on the Mossberg Plinkster 702. Your local shop should be able to order one for you if they don’t have it in stock. Around here (NE Ohio) they sell for $110-$120 plus tax and would be a lot better gun in the long run.
