Toys Diecast collection – a hobby for all ages

diecast toy vehicles were first produced in England and the U.S. early 1900. This was the beginning of what would become one of the most popular toys in history. Diecast toys are picked up by tens of thousands of people, both children and adults worldwide.

The first diecast models were very simple, with only a painted metal body, no interior fittings were unfortunately whatsoever. They low-grade alloys molten metal in most cases not stand the test of low quality time. These alloys become brittle as they age and deteriorate gradually and crumble. As a result of this early die cast toys from the first quarter of the twentieth century are very scarce today.

Before long however, these early diecast toy manufacturers realized that there was a very good market for toy vehicles. Cars, trucks, aircraft equipment mini-farm and many other models were widely produced by a number of manufacturers. As demand grew the quality of materials used to make toys has been improved. Increased attention to detail also became the rule that manufacturers compete for more sales.

In the early 1930s were introduced Thumbnails Modeling. These vehicles 1 / 43 scale miniature was designed for use with the model design of the composition. It soon became popular as a collector's item own right, and were known as Dinky Toys.

Lesney Matchbox cars were produced in large quantities with 75 different vehicles on each line. This gave collectors a huge variety of models to collect.

The line of vehicles was introduced by Corgi miniatures Mettoy in the 1950s. They also were successful. One of the major reasons for its success was that these cars had an exceptional attention to interior fittings. They had detailed interior. They were even provided clear plastic window. These highly detailed miniature vehicles were a big hit with collectors.

In 1968 Mattel introduced Hot Wheels cars with a initial line of 16 vehicles. These first Hotwheels vehicles all had a red line around the tire.
